PRESS RELEASE Citizens Committee for the Trees surprised to learn that Mr. Aldo Piombino branded under the brand of incompetent general all those who see the tunnel HST just another waste of public money and a 'useless work harmful to the city, the environment and health of the population. In this undemocratic stance, the Committee responded with an open letter in defense even of those citizens who, though not (and not having to be) of the technicians, however, are very knowledgeable and able to read technical reports 'smoky' in which one sees the 'apparent attempt to give a technical and scientific value to the' Navigation in view 'of many works in Florence.. "
that this is unnecessary and harmful (given the existence of simple solutions and no waste), continues the letter, is plain to anyone with eyes and ears and is equipped with common sense, which would ultimately lacking in many local and national government, pushed to the achievements of the 'works' by many other purposes increasingly obvious even to non-technical and non-professionals.
